The Two-Step Dune Ritual
A step-by-step guide to performing the Argana Dune signature body ceremony at home.
The signature Argana Dune ritual is built on a simple truth: exfoliation without nourishment is incomplete, and nourishment without exfoliation is less effective. The two steps are designed to be performed together, in sequence, to mirror what the Moroccan hammam has always known.
Begin in a warm shower. The heat matters — it softens the skin and opens the pores, preparing the surface for the scrub. Apply the Dune Glow Body Scrub to damp skin, working it in slow circular motions from the ankles upward. Do not rush this step. The fine sugar crystals need time to dissolve — as they do, they release argan oil directly into the skin. You will feel the texture change beneath your hands. This transition from granular to silky is the moment the ritual is working.
After three to five minutes, rinse thoroughly with warm water. Do not use soap after the scrub — the argan oil residue is intentional. Pat the skin dry gently, leaving it slightly warm. This is the moment for Step 2.
Apply the Fig & Argan Body Milk immediately to warm, slightly damp skin. The lightweight emulsion is designed to absorb within seconds in this state — it will lock in the moisture the shower has introduced and the scrub has prepared the skin to receive. A generous handful, worked from the legs upward with long strokes. No need to massage aggressively. The formula does the work.
Perform this ritual two to three times per week. The effects are cumulative — most people notice a significant change in skin texture after four sessions. The scrub removes the barrier; the milk rebuilds it better. This is the hammam logic, translated into your bathroom, your schedule, your skin.
